Huawei Ascend W1 Available From O2 In March For Just £120

The Huawei Ascend W1 is a mid-range Windows Phone 8 smartphone that was unveiled back at the start of January. However, until now we've still yet to hear when the mobile will land in the UK.

The good news is that O2 have now announced that the Huawei Ascend W1 will begin shipping on March 7th.  Huawei's Windows smartphone will be available to buy on Pay As You Go for just £120 or from £13.50 a month on monthly contracts.

Huawei Ascend W1 - What do you get for your money ?

Huawei's Ascend W1 features a 4 inch IPS LCD touch-screen display which runs at a resolution of 800 * 480 pixels. While, it's powered by a dual-core 1.2 Ghz Snapdragon processor which works in combination with an Adrendo 320 GPU.

On-board memory comes in at a reasonable 4GB and the great news is that it can be expanded using microSD cards. You'll also get a 5 mega-pixel camera with LED Flash and decent battery life thanks to a 1950 mAH battery.

The Huawei Ascend W1 will be available in a choice of either Blue or Ruby-Pink. The bad news for the ladies , or fellas, is that the Pink version won't be available until March 17th , while the Blue version lands on March 7th.
