Owners of the Google Nexus 7 (2013), Nexus 5 and Nexus 4 now have the option of charging their device without wires. To rid themselves of pesky wires they can purchase a Nexus Wireless Charger from the Google Play store for £34.99.
The Nexus Wireless Charger snaps to your Nexus device magnetically, enabling you to charge your smartphone or tablet without the fuss of plugging in wires. It also eliminates the risk of broken charging ports, a problem which affected the first generation Nexus 7 here in our office - probably due to our recklessness.
The charger, which uses the Qi interface standard, adheres to any surface and plugs into a USB port or directly into a power socket. Portability is excellent thanks to its 60x60x12.5 mm dimensions and 105g weight. While, it comes in a sleek Black finish.
The Nexus Wireless Charger is pretty nifty device, but we can't help feeling mythed that wireless chargers arn't universal - although, it's not surprising given how long we had to wait for universal mobile chargers.
