Three is rolling out its 5G network connectivity at the end of February, and it's celebrating via a fashion show at London Fashion Week. It's 5G roll out has been slightly delayed compared to original plans, but it's now a substantial launch covering dozens of locations.
Three has promised that it'll be the fastest 5G network in the country suggesting it'll have peak mobile speeds of up to 2x faster than other companies thanks to its more substantial 5G spectrum holding.
All Three customers will benefit too without having to pay anything extra on top of their contract, SIM Only or PAYG plan, with no speed caps either.

In a statement, Dave Dyson, CEO at Three, said: "Today we are celebrating what is possible through 5G with a showcase of our ultra-fast 5G capabilities marking the next step in our 5G journey. The breath-taking, immersive audience experience is something that’s never been done before and we are proud to demonstrate it at such a prestigious global event. 5G is set to change the world for all of us and we can’t wait for our customers to start experiencing it."
Given the prestigious event for the firm, it makes sense they'd want to celebrate, although an appearance at London Fashion Week probably wasn't the first idea that most tech fans would think of. There, Three will partner with Central Saint Martins to create a 5G fashion experience that sounds rather similar to EE's previous showing at the BAFTAs albeit with more effects along the length of the runway.
The key takeaway here is that you'll need a 5G handset to see the spectacle, and we suspect that's where Three is keen to push its lineup. Three currently offers 8 5G handsets if you include pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S20 series of phones. It also offers the Galaxy S10 series, Samsung Galaxy A90, Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, and Huawei Mate 20 X, so there's plenty of choice for early adopters.
Expect to see Three roll out 5G to 65 new locations at the end of this month.
