The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 is one of Samsung’s latest flip phone foldables, and it’s now bigger and better than ever before.

With a larger 6.9-inch foldable display and 4.1-inch cover screen, you have a flagship-sized handset when it’s flipped open, and a comfortably usable yet compact screen when it’s folded shut.

These displays are high resolution for their sizes too, at 1080 x 2520 for the foldable screen and 938 x 1048 for the cover displays, and they both have a 120Hz refresh rate – which in the case of the cover screen is an upgrade on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6’s 60Hz screen.

Both also use AMOLED tech and can reach a bright 2,600 nits, so you’re getting high-end displays here.

You’re also getting a much bigger battery than previously, as the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6’s 4,000mAh unit has been replaced with a 4,300mAh one for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7. Samsung states this will last for up to 31 hours of video playback, so there’s plenty of life here.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 has also been slimmed down, so now it’s just 6.5mm thick when unfolded and 13.7mm thick when folded, making it far more pocket-friendly than last year’s model.

And it has a powerful new Exynos 2500 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM, giving it flagship power, so it can easily handle AI, video editing, and high-end games.

Its cameras are capable too, with a 50MP main snapper, a 12MP ultra-wide (with a 123-degree field of view), and a 10MP front-facing camera, and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 has a new look, with an all-screen design when folded.

Plus it has an IP48 rating, meaning it can be submerged up to 1.5 metres deep in water for up to 30 minutes.

All that and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 will also get seven years of operating system and security updates, so its software will stay current and secure.
