The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is a remarkably slim and light phone considering it’s a foldable. Coming in at just 239g, it’s only slightly heavier than the non-foldable Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, and it’s a lot lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5.

That, coupled with being just 5.6mm thick when unfolded, means this feels way more comfortable to carry and use – especially as the cover screen is also a little wider this time.

Speaking of the screens, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 has a 7.6-inch 1856 x 2160 main foldable display and a 6.3-inch 968 x 2376 cover screen. So the latter lets you use it like a conventional smartphone, while the former turns it into more of a tablet.

Both screens have 120Hz refresh rates, so they’re smooth to interact with, and in fact everything feels smooth here, as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 also has a supremely powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and 12GB of RAM.

That’s paired with plenty of storage, as you can get up to 1TB built in, and that’s good because you’ll likely want to fill this phone full of photos and videos, thanks to its impressive camera system. There are five snappers in total, headlined by a 50MP main camera. That’s joined by a 12MP ultra-wide and a 10MP telephoto (with 3x optical zoom) on the back, while the cover screen has a 10MP snapper and the foldable display has a 4MP under-display camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 also has loads of AI features, including photo editing tools, live translation, and a whole lot more.

Plus, it has a big 4,400mAh battery, and to help give you peace of mind the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is protected by both Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and Armour Aluminium, so it can survive bumps, drops, and scrapes. In fact, thanks to its IP48 rating it can even survive a fall into water.
