Overview

LG Stylus 3 on Three

Samsung isn’t the only company that releases phones with styluses, LG does too, and the LG Stylus 3 is an accomplished, affordable option.

Its 5.7-inch screen gives you plenty of room to scribble on with the included stylus, and that stylus is clever too, as a pop-up menu with useful actions pops up the second you take the pen out of its slot in the phone’s slim shell. And if an idea comes to you while the screen is off you can start writing without turning it on.

The phone will also alert you if the pen strays too far, so you’ll never lose it, and the screen on the LG Stylus 3 is worth a closer look as well, as its 720 x 1280 resolution gives it a pixel density of 258 pixels per inch – which is decent for the money.

The LG Stylus 3 also has a fingerprint scanner, which does more than just scan, as you can also use it to take a photo or capture a screenshot.

And there’s a 13MP camera on the back, designed to work well even when the light is bad. There’s also a 5MP front-facing camera and smooth performance, thanks to an octa-core processor and 2GB of RAM.

The LG Stylus 3’s 3,200mAh battery should keep you going all day, and it’s removable, so you can always swap it for a spare.

There’s 16GB of storage with plenty of room for expansion thanks to a microSD card slot which supports cards of up to 256GB. All of which combines to make the LG Stylus 3 a great value phablet and brilliant for anyone who wants to take their mobile productivity to the next level.
