QVC have released a new version of their iPhone application in time for Christmas.
The major improvement of the new version is that you can now watch the the QVC shopping channel live on your iPhone ! The streaming will take place in wide-screen HD and the app will also have a TV Guide telling you what products are coming up.
As you'd expect you can buy items using the application , as well as being able to check customer ratings and reviews before committing to a purchase.
The application also enables you to recommend an item to a friend or send a reminder to yourself to view a product at a later date. Finding items is very easy because the QVC iPhone application features a comprehensive search facility.
Once you've ordered an item you can check your order status inside the application, which is available to download free from the App Store.
The guys at 3G think we're already overwhelmed by enough adverts and shopping channels already , without needing to download applications to watch them on our mobiles. However, it does offer a way to do some Christmas shopping on your lunch break or on the train.
