Three just got a lot better for anyone who wants to be able to call abroad from the UK, as the network has launched two new international calling add-ons, and they’re better than what was available before.
You can now add ‘Call Abroad 100’ to your Three account to get 100 minutes for use in 55 countries, at a cost of just £5 per month. Or if you’re a big talker there’s ‘Call Abroad Unlimited’, offering unlimited minutes in the same selection of countries for £10 per month.
Those minutes apply to both landlines and mobiles, and that’s twice as many countries it works in than with Three’s previous International Saver add-on. The full list of countries is as follows:
Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Bermuda, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Columbia, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guam, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, MACAU, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Mongolia, Namibia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand and the US.
Since these add-ons only last a month they’re flexible too, as you can cancel at any time. And they couldn’t have come at a better time, as with Covid-19 limiting international travel, it’s likely that people will be wanting to call friends and family abroad more than ever. Indeed, Three reports having noticed this.
These international calling add-ons can be added to your Three account through the My3 app, your account on Three’s website, or by calling 333 from your Three phone. They’re also available to Three Means Business customers, who can add them by calling 337 from their Three mobile.
With Three already being the best network for roaming according to the uSwitch Awards 2020, it looks like it could now be the best network for any kind of international use.
