One of the decisions you often need to make when signing up for a new SIM Only or Pay As You Go plan is whether to get it with a standard, micro or nano SIM. But now, on Three, that’s one less thing that you have to think about, as the network has started offering Trio SIMs as standard.
These, as the name suggests, contain all three SIM card sizes – you just pop out the one you need when it arrives.
It’s a small change, but one that simplifies the process of getting a new SIM card, as you don’t need to make the size decision when you order it.
For most people, it’s an easy decision to make anyway – you just pick the one that fits your phone, but that can take a bit of research, especially if you don’t know much about tech, which many people in the market for a SIM card won’t.
And then there will be those that are planning to change their phone too, but maybe haven’t quite decided which handset they’re getting yet, so don’t know which SIM card size they’ll need – they too are helped by this change.
