Overview

Nokia is the king of affordable smartphones and the Nokia 2.4 shows why. This is a super cheap handset yet it has a large, 6.5-inch 720 x 1600 screen that’s great whether you’re using apps, playing games, or watching videos.

The Nokia 2.4 also has a big 4,500mAh battery, and with its clever AI-assisted Adaptive Battery feature it can last up to two days between charges, which is a lot longer than most phones.

Even the design and build – which are usually lacking on cheap phones – impress here, as the Nokia 2.4 has a 3D nano-textured cover, a diecast metal chassis, and a polycarbonate shell, a combination that leaves it looking good and feeling tough.

There’s also a dual-lens camera with both a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP depth one, complete with a useful night mode. Plus there’s a fingerprint scanner and a handy dedicated Google Assistant button, so you can call it up with a single press.

Its Android One software meanwhile means a little power goes a long way, as there’s no bloat. The Nokia 2.4 will also get at least two years of software updates and three years of security patches, so it won’t go out of date for a long time.
