Along with the other major UK mobile networks Three offers its customers free Wi-Fi on the London Underground. It's easy to setup and access as we'll show you in this article.

The first thing to be aware of is that not every London Underground station has Wi-Fi access, but most do. Right now there’s 150 and that number is growing all the time. For a full list head on over to my.virginmedia.com/wifi/station-guide, but before you can access Wi-Fi at any of them you need an account. That basically just means creating a password, which can be done either from three.co.uk/my3 or via the My3 app.
It can take up to 48 hours for your account to be registered, so don’t wait until you’re at the station to do it. Once your account is registered and you’re at a participating station just switch Wi-Fi on and select Virgin Media Wi-Fi.
That won’t immediately let you get fully online as first you need to open your browser, which will load a Virgin Media Wi-Fi page, and from there select Three as your provider from the 'Other providers' dropdown. You’ll then have to enter your mobile number and password.
Accept the terms, hit submit and then you’re good to go, so the next time your train is delayed at least you’ll be able to check your email, keep occupied and stay in contact with the outside world.
Don’t forget that Three also has an inTouch app, which lets you call and text over Wi-Fi, so you’ll be able to make full use of your phone even when underground on a platform.
Any pay as you go or pay monthly Three customer can access the service as long as you've made a call or sent a text in the last 30 days. You can also use up to three devices for it. You'll need to register each individually, but once registered they'll automatically be recognised at participating stations.
