The iPhone 12 Pro Max is the biggest and best iPhone available, with a massive 6.7-inch screen, loads of cameras and loads of power.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max is the biggest iPhone Apple has ever built, with its 6.7-inch screen making it even bigger than the 6.5-inch iPhone 11 Pro Max. And this isn’t just any screen, it’s a 1284 x 2778 OLED one with HDR10 support and a peak brightness of 1200 nits.
So it’s high resolution, bright, and the combination of OLED and HDR means everything looks stunning on it. Being so big it’s also one of the best possible ways to view videos and photos, or to play games.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max also has a big battery, able to make it through up to 20 hours of video playback before it needs a charge. That’s more than the rest of the iPhone 12 range, and it supports fast charging, wireless charging, and MagSafe charging – the latter being a clever tech that magnetically sticks chargers to the back of the phone, so they’re always lined up correctly.
MagSafe also allows you to magnetically attach wallets, cases, and other accessories to the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
And the iPhone 12 Pro Max is also every bit as powerful as you’d expect, thanks to a cutting-edge A14 Bionic chipset and 5G support. Plus it has four rear cameras, with 12MP main, ultra-wide and telephoto ones paired with a LiDAR scanner – that’s something you won’t find on any phone not made by Apple, and it allows for super-precise judging of depth and distances, aiding the likes of augmented reality.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max is also surprisingly tough, with water resistance to depths of up to 6 metres, and Ceramic Shield protection on the screen – a new tech that makes it better able to survive being dropped. So this really is a phone that maxes out on specs and features.
