Overview

The Samsung Galaxy S10e is the phone for you if you want a flagship without quite paying flagship prices.

It has many of the same specs and features as the main Samsung Galaxy S10, including a top-end Exynos 9820 octa-core chipset and up to 8GB of RAM, plus a premium design with a metal frame, a glass back and tiny bezels (with a camera cut-out in the screen instead).

While it’s not quite a match for its siblings in all areas, the Samsung Galaxy S10e is still a thoroughly impressive phone, with a 5.8-inch 1080 x 2280 Dynamic AMOLED screen – which is smaller than the rest of the range and therefore makes it more pocket and one-hand friendly.

That screen comes in at a crisp 438 pixels per inch and is HDR10+ certified, meaning that HDR content will pop even more than normal.

The Galaxy S10e also has a dual-lens rear camera, with both a 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide lens and a 12MP lens that can switch between an aperture of f/1.5 and f/2.4. So that’s two lenses with three different apertures, giving you varied views on the world. And the phone also has a 10MP front-facing camera for all your selfie needs.

The Samsung Galaxy S10e also has up to 256GB of built-in storage along with a microSD card slot supporting 512GB more, so there’s plenty of space.

There’s a 3,100mAh battery under the hood and it supports fast charging, fast wireless charging and you can even use the phone as a charging pad to juice up other devices. You also get stereo speakers tuned by AKG and a build that’s both dust and water-resistant. Not bad for the baby of the range.
