Overview

HTC 10 deals

The HTC 10 is one of the most beautiful phones currently available and with a Snapdragon 820 processor it’s powerful too.

The HTC 10 is every bit a flagship and that’s immediately obvious, thanks to its premium curved metal shell. Fire the 5.2-inch screen up and you’ll be greeted by a 1440 x 2560 display, coming in at an incredibly crisp 565 pixels per inch. It hums powerfully along too, thanks to 4GB of RAM and an octa-core Snapdragon 820 chip, with four cores clocked at 2.15GHz and four running at 1.6GHz.

Then there’s its camera. The HTC 10 has a 12MP snapper on the back, which uses the company’s UltraPixel technology for strong low-light performance, while round the front there’s a 5MP camera and both benefit from optical image stabilisation. The HTC 10 also has a big 3000mAh battery offering up to two days of life, fast charging for when it runs low, a fast fingerprint scanner and impressive BoomSound speakers, with support for 24-bit high-res audio, making it a media powerhouse and an intimidating force among flagship phones.

Even the interface impresses, offering something close to stock Android, but with more customisation and theme options, along with HTC’s famous BlinkFeed screen for news and social media updates.

The HTC 10 is out now with a SIM-free RRP of £569.99. On contract you’re looking at prices of around £38 per month and up, in many cases with an upfront cost attached too. That’s a lot, but no more than most other top flagships, like the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and iPhone 6S.
