The Huawei P40 Pro 5G is a cutting-edge 5G flagship, with top cameras, a great design, and loads more impressive specs and features.
The Huawei P40 Pro 5G is, as the name suggests, a 5G phone, but it also stands out in a lot of other ways. It’s clearly something special even at first glance, thanks to its ‘Quad-curve Overflow Display’, which means the front glass curves around all four edges of the phone, whereas most screens just curve to the left and right.
It’s a seriously striking look, and all the more impressive given that most phones are near identical rectangles.
The Huawei P40 Pro 5G also has an impressive camera, with a 50MP f/1.9 main lens, a 12MP f/3.4 periscope one (with 5x optical zoom), a 40MP f/1.8 ultra-wide one, and a time-of-flight 3D depth sensor.
Huawei is known for putting top camera configurations on its phones and the Huawei P40 Pro 5G is no exception. It’s versatile and with the main sensor being larger than most rivals you can expect excellent performance.
The Huawei P40 Pro 5G also has a smooth 90Hz refresh rate on its 6.58-inch 1200 x 2640 screen, a big 4,200mAh battery, a top-end Kirin 990 chipset, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and a dual-lens camera on the front, which combines both a high-res 32MP sensor and an infrared depth sensor, the latter of which both powers up portrait shots (as it allows for improved bokeh effect) and allows for slick and secure facial recognition.
