Read MoreHuawei is a champion of budget phones and the Huawei Y6 (2019) is a clear example of that, offering a big 6.09-inch 720 x 1560 display with minimal bezel, leading to an impressive 87% screen-to-body ratio and a look suited to a higher-end – and much more expensive – phone.
The Huawei Y6 (2019) achieves that screen-to-body ratio in part by using a tiny notch at the top of the display, rather than a full bezel, a notch which houses an 8MP front-facing camera, complete with its own LED flash, which helps you take great, true to life portrait shots, even when the light is poor.
That camera also helps power facial recognition, giving you a modern and speedy way to unlock the Huawei Y6 (2019), and around the back there’s a 13MP main camera, designed to perform well in low light situations.
The Huawei Y6 (2019) also packs in other specs you might not expect at this price, like SuperSound tech, which allows it to offer an additional 6db of sound and enhanced bass when using the phone’s speakers.
Rounding out the specs there’s a quad-core chipset and 2GB of RAM for solid performance, plus a 3,020mAh battery, 32GB of storage and a microSD card slot – so there’s room for expansion.
