Read MoreThe iPhone 11 Pro is Apple’s true flagship for 2019, offering all the power of the iPhone 11 Pro Max in a slightly smaller, more pocket-friendly size.
You’ve still got plenty of space though with its 5.8-inch screen, and this is the best screen Apple has ever put on a phone. It’s an 1125 x 2436 Super Retina XDR OLED display, with an incredibly bright 1,200 nit peak brightness, an amazing 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and HDR10 support.
It’s one of the best screens you’ll find on any phone and it’s joined by the fastest chipset you’ll find in a phone, namely the Apple A13 Bionic.
All that power and those gorgeous visuals won’t wipe out your battery though, as Apple promises four hours more life than the iPhone XS offered, so this thing is built to last.
And we have to talk about the cameras. Apple has stuck three on the back – that’s more than any previous iPhone model. There’s a standard one, an ultra-wide one and a telephoto one, all 12MP. But these cameras go beyond the specs, promising astonishing low light performance and great versatility, thanks to a wealth of modes and settings. But being an iPhone you can still just point, shoot and get great results.
Apple has refined the phone’s build since the previous model too. The overall look is similar, complete with a screen-filled front, a metal frame and a glass back, but Apple has used tougher glass this year. In fact, it claims this is the toughest front and back glass ever used on a smartphone, so the iPhone 11 Pro has a fighting chance of surviving a fall even without a case. Which is a good thing too, because it’s too pretty to hide.
The iPhone 11 Pro is also water-resistant to depths of up to 4 metres, packs Dolby Atmos for enhanced audio, Face ID is better than ever, and you get both wireless and fast charging. In short, this phone lives up to the ‘Pro’ in its name.
